my favorite ads from top to bottom from the superbowl of 2005.

you need window mediaplayer to view these ads. they'll pop up in new window. or for even faster viewing right click on the movie and "save as the .wmv" file to your hard drive then view off line at your leisure. the faster your modem the happier you'll be, but then those of you on cable modems already know that. enjoy.

ameriquest - brilliant. just a brilliant idea and flawless execution. sign this ad agency up to write some sitcoms. there is a gary larson like brilliance in allowing the viewer's imagination to anticipate the next frame/scene.

"don't judge too quickly"
fedex - a close second to the ameriquest ad. nice start by breaking the fourth wall btw advertising agency and viewers, hitting the cliches (some even cheered on this website -- hello john west ad.) with humor and the coup de grace, burt renoylds.

"ad cliches"
godaddy.com - props for having the cojones to take on the elephant in the room everyone wanted to forget. even more props for attacking the silliness of congress and moral blowhards outrage over "nipplegate". let this ad be the final epitaph for the whole sorry episode.

"you're upsetting the committee"
ameriquest 2 - the same idea as the earlier ameriquest ad, of jumping to wrong conclusions, but i like the one with the cat better.

"don't judge too quickly"
lays potato chips - its a one joke ad, but when the punchline ends up being mc hammer thrown bodily you got a winner and lots of fans.

"old man henkins never throws back"
nfl network - no one i know gets or watches this channel. espn or espn2 please, still you can't go wrong with this many cameos for star players. mlb, nba, and nhl take note even the losing teams in this league can be used to promote its popularity. david stern & bud selig eat your heart out.

"tomorrow, tomorrow. . ."
