so as sarah an i have watched so called "journalists" make fools of themselves in florida over the past few weeks of hurricanes i've privately wished that one of these morons would get clocked in the head -- not fatally but just enough so they could stop this idiotic "reporting" on how dangerous it is to be in the middle of a hurricane. i'm not sure if this is real or not or if somebody had a little fun in photoshop making an image of "hard hitting" journalism. next up a live camera feed from inside a forest fire.

some of youse might recall my last foray into sin city coincided with the release of the movie remake, oceans 11; an occasion that merited a little photoshop tribute. cue the sinatra, cue the elvis, cue the wayne newton. i'm going to vegas again baby. just got my plane tickets for a bachelor party in october. and is it fate that the oceans 11 sequel coincides with my trip? clooney call me, we'll do lunch.

as some of you may have noticed the site updates continue. the front page was making some funky rollovers for PCs with internet explorer. lousy microsoft! can't we all just find a web standard? anyway i remade the front page into a fast loading flash movie. check it out. still gotta get that non-flash page PC compliant. time to dig out the old DHMTL handbook. final changes by this weekend.
i feel really old. just heard this news this a.m. sigh. i highly recommend adding this cd to your collection.

as the new bruce hornsby song goes, "gonna be some changes made". as i said in an earlier post there has been a radical redesign to the site's front page. it now reflects some offshoot blogs and categories i've been itching to write about. the music section is not there yet but every other link should work.
gotta run, heading up to WI this weekend to visit the in-laws. wisconsin, "its nice up there, eh?"
