i miss bloom county, i miss the far side, and i most of all i miss calvin & hobbes. this was the last sunday syndicated strip.

for about a 2 year period, every friday i would try to send friends on my email list something funny to look at and/or read. this was my last email i sent from that time.

prophetic, biting, and funny. i was working at a dot.com in silicon alley and one day this guy came in wheeling out the coke & vending machines. every one knew the gig was about to be up -- when you can't afford the vending machine rental bills some java programmers are going to be laid off.
